There was a point in my weight loss journey when I decided to make the shift from restriction to education.
I remember thinking there had to be another way to lose weight. If the only way was being hungry all the time, feeling out of control, and under loads of stress, then I didn’t want it that badly.
But then I started reading labels and realized it wasn’t about restriction, it was about inclusion—choosing more nutrient dense foods with filling power.
I realized I had many choices at my finger tips and I just had to learn how to make the right ones.
Studies show those who read nutrition facts labels are less likely to be overweight. And those who actually KNOW what they’re looking for make even better choices— likely because AWARENESS PRECEDES CHANGE.
