Should You Ditch The Scale Or Weigh Yourself Daily?
Like most health related questions, the answer depends.
Studies show those who weigh themselves daily actually achieve better weight loss outcomes.
However, in these studies, “better” means more and in life more isn’t always better.
So, it also depends on your definition of “better.”
If by “better” or “more” you mean more energy, strength, and confidence (despite the actual number), then using the scale as a tool may benefit you.
But if by “better” or “more” you mean more at the expense of those things (and your only measure of progress is based on that number), then I don’t recommend it.
