Stepping Away From The All-Or-Nothing Mindset

FOR THOSE WHO ARE TIRED OF STARTING OVER ON MONDAY
How does ONE day of the week dictate such a huge part of your life?
I used to think I needed to wait to get my health in order until the start of a new week, the first of the month, or beginning to a school year.
I know why I did it too: my priorities and my expectations around them. I wasn’t willing to let go of the meals I loved, time I spent with friends, or ability to sleep in, to get a workout in.
I THOUGHT eating healthy and exercise would require every ounce of my time and energy.
So I kept pushing it off…until I realized I was making it more complicated then it needed to be.
I needed to stop waiting for fairies to come down and sprinkle their magical motivation dust over me.
I know you can relate to this. You keep pushing off the start date, because you think it means making drastic changes, but if drastic changes didn’t work before, what makes you think it’ll work this time?
Instead of staying in the all-or-nothing mindset that’s overwhelming you and causing more stress, switch to a balanced mindset that says you have the power to dictate your actions, daily.
To be consistent you need to understand there’s nothing magical about Monday’s, but THIS one can be if you decide you’ll stop jumping to extremes and embrace balance instead.
Drop a “hello” below if you’re committing to making next Monday (& every day) a balanced one!
What is one thing you can do today instead of waiting until next Monday?
With Lots Of Healthy Love,
