I made this recipe from Chocolate Covered Katie’s blog and it was a big hit with my family and friends. It is a perfect appetizer or dessert choice for the next holiday party you are hosting. It is made from chickpeas but you would never know because the taste is incredible!
Ingredients:
- 15 oz can of chick peas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp. gluten free oats
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a food processor except for the chocolate chips and blend until smooth, then mix in the chocolate chips.
It’s good to spread on a gluten free graham cracker or if you like the sweet/salty combination add some gluten free whole grain pretzel sticks. I actually had it for a bed time snack on a rice cake!
