Fat Loss Vs. Weight Loss

Or what I like to call…
Muscle Gain Vs Muscle Loss!
Restrictive diets may help you lose weight in the short term, but they often damage the metabolism in the long run.
This makes keeping the weight off nearly impossible, because with each new attempt at weight loss, you’ll need to consume fewer and fewer calories to be able to do so.
But when you focus on increasing your muscle mass, you’ll actually speed up your metabolism. In time you’ll be able to eat more to lose weight and the best part…keep it off.
With that said, this weight loss doesn’t always show on the scale. However it will show in the way your clothes fit, your energy levels, and your strength.
To achieve this, prioritize:
– strength training 2-3x week
– protein at every meal
– 7-9 hours of sleep per night
– a balanced diet
– hydration
– stress management
Instead of using the scale to measure progress, go by how your clothes fit, how you feel, and your energy levels.
And most importantly, be patient. Real change takes time, you got this!
With Lots Of Healthy Love,
Toni
