Why You’re Struggling To Stay Motivated

If you’ve never felt anxious before, this pandemic may make you feel it.
If you’ve never struggled with emotional eating before, this pandemic may make you struggle with it.
If you’ve never battled with deep sadness before, this pandemic may make you battle with it.
If you’ve never had a hard time motivating yourself, this pandemic may make it difficult.
If you’ve struggled with any of the above in the past and thought you did all the personal development work and therapy to beat it, this pandemic may make you experience it, again.
And if you’re wondering why, the answer is because, YOU’RE GRIEVING— Grieving the unexpected loss of the life you once had, grieving the events/plans that had to be cancelled, and grieving the loss of the thousands who’ve tragically lost their lives to COVID-19.
You may be grieving the loss of a job, a home, or business. You may be grieving the loss of certain relationships because despite your best effort, the dynamic between you and them has forever changed.
So when you catch yourself crying for “no reason” or beating yourself up for overeating, remind yourself this is your way of processing everything that’s going on around you.
Although we’re all experiencing this differently, one things for sure— WE’RE ALL EXPERIENCING THIS. I hope you find comfort in knowing you’re not alone and use the guide below to help you through the healing process.

With Lots Of Healthy Love,
Toni
