When people think of getting healthy they often think of diet and exercise, but your health is so much more than that.
ALL of the areas I will talk about below matter, equally.
For some, focusing on one makes it easier to improve another, and for others, focusing on one too much, makes it easier to neglect the others— be mindful of this.
Practice building lifetime habits to support your wellness goals with these tips:
Self Care— Commit to at least one activity per week that signifies you’re taking care of you. Ex: give yourself a facial, manicure, or take a bubble bath.
Daily Movement— Stick to exercises you enjoy. If you hate running, walk. If you dislike using equipment, use your own body weight.
Balanced Diet— Drop the all or nothing mindset. Incorporate more fruits, veggies, whole grains, healthy fats, and lean proteins. Allow for small amounts of sweets and fried foods when craving them.
Healthy Relationships— Surround yourself with people who love and believe in you. Set boundaries with those who take, complain, and put you and/or others down.
Restful Sleep— Try going to bed and waking up at the same time daily. If your schedule doesn’t allow it, create a nighttime routine so your body knows when it’s time to go to sleep.
Stress Managed— Allow for quiet time so you can process your thoughts, stop saying yes to commitments you don’t want to do, and learn to be okay with less.
With Lots Of Healthy Love,
Toni
